Farmers consider tapping into wind power

SULLIVAN ALLIANCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (SASD) is a network of individuals, businesses and organizations whose goal is to implement a new economic model for Sullivan County based on projects that are socially and environmentally responsible.

We have to live in harmony with nature
SASD’s mission shall be to foster economic development that is environmentally and economically sustainable as well as socially responsible, providing jobs that grant a living wage within the greater Sullivan County region.

SASD shall accomplish its mission through, but not limited to: providing educational talks, forums and workshops; publishing articles and advertisements; coordinating and cooperating with business, governmental and community organizations; conducting and collaborating on studies; serving as a resource for maintaining and disseminating relevant data and information; and promoting, planning and coordinating green building and renewable energy projects.
